Do you do physical work and suffer from back pain? National Spinal Health Week (20-26 May) is an initiative of the Australian Chiropractors Association (ACA) to educate Australians about the importance of spinal health for EveryBODY.
Those who do a lot of physical work are among the highest percentage of Australians at risk of back pain. With physical work typically involving strenuous activities that can strain the spine, muscles, ligaments and joints; lifting and repetitive actions such as bending, squatting or standing for extended periods can lead to musculoskeletal injuries which, if left untreated, can lead to a chronic pain condition or disability.
This National Spinal Health Week (20-26 May), join the ‘Movement’ and make spinal health part of your daily routine with the free Straighten Up app. Designed to help reduce musculoskeletal disorders like back pain, adjust your thinking about spinal health and download Straighten Up today from www.spinalhealthweek.org.au or your app provider, because prevention is the best protection!
